Billet Responses

"Our family was honored to billet three children and Harriet when they were in Thunder Bay. That was such a blessed opportunity and we are more than willing to do it again. We were able to sponsor one of the children that we had staying with us - Risen. What a great opportunity it was to spend time with her and get to know her and be able to communicate with her later on."

Thunder Bay, 2016

"I already miss the girls. :) We had an amazing time hosting. If you are reading this and have the group coming to your area and you are thinking of hosting do it! The kids are very gracious, kind and just all around lovely! A true blessing to have in our home. We wish you all the best as you travel across Canada. I wish you could have stayed longer. <3" (2014)

Church's Responses

"The folks are still buzzing over the choir's performance and the billets are so happy that they were able to spend some 'extra' time with them at their homes. We were blessed to have all of you in our midst."  - Pastor (2016)

"This morning we were blessed by the Asante Children's Choir at our church in Ste. Anne MB. Thank you for giving us this opportunity to be part of this ministry and to be a part of Mary's life. God bless you!" (2014)

"The Children's Choir joined us for worship today at Knox Shuniah United Church, and their song and dance contribution moved many of us to tears. We who have so much, are humbled by their energy and enthusiasm. May God use this tour to raise the funds to help many more African families." (2014)

"Loved your performance!! You all sounded so wonderful I hope you come back!" (2014)

"...The young people's energy and enthusiasm are infectious; you just want to jump up and sing and dance with them. We in Canada who have so much, are often not grateful and lack joy. Yet they who have lived through such darkness, are filled with the Light. The message they bring to us is that God's love through our hands, tithes and offerings can change lives! May God richly bless the Asante Canada Tour of Hope 2014, keeping them and their loved ones safe from all harm and may the harvest reaped be "good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over." Luke 6:38" (2014)
